Deadlines are really beginning to drive me crazy. There. I said it.

I`m in Journalism, so I write for my school`s paper. And I`m a columnist (my column is on the band). And deadline is Friday. Its...quite annoying when you have your entire column writen, and then your editor and the Journalism teacher come up to you on Monday and tell you that they want you to rewrite your entire column using topics they supply you with for that month.

Yep. That happened to me this week. I`d written everything I needed (I was covering the band`s part of all three varsity football games they`ve been to). And I had it done before deadline. And the editor and my teacher both came up to me, and told me they had a different idea...and told me pretty much to cover the entire topic of our half-time show this year. And there was a list of other stuff too. The minimum word count on it? 250 words. Yeah. Not a problem at all. I`m not even half way done with it yet and I have 300 words.

And I have to interview the drum major tomorrow...

And then Friday its due...

And then in a week and a half or so..I`ll see my name in print again!
